Andrew Naylor joined the World Gold Council in 2016. He leads the Council’s regional office in the UAE and heads public policy initiatives globally. Before his current role, he was Head of APAC (ex-China) based in Singapore. He was also part of the central banks and public policy team and led the World Gold Council’s Islamic finance initiative.

Prior to joining the World Gold Council, Andrew worked with international consultancy firm Cicero Group, advising financial institutions on foreign investment and trade policy in Asia and on the global regulatory reform agenda.

Andrew is a member of the supervisory board of the EU-ASEAN Business Council. Previous appointments include Chairman of the Singapore Bullion Market Association’s Public Affairs Committee (2017–2013), and Board Member of the European Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (2012–2019).

He is a regular commentator on global political and economic developments, featuring on media outlets such as BBC, Bloomberg Asharq, Sky News, Channel NewsAsia, Dubai Eye, and CNBC.

Chirag Sheth is the Principal Consultant at Metals Focus, the world’s leading independent precious metals consultancy. He heads the India office, overseeing South Asia and South-East Asia markets. With over 20 years of experience in precious metals trading and research, Chirag has previously worked with leading institutions such as UBS and UTI.
